Frequently Asked Questions

At The Bath Workshop, we believe in producing the most natural products we possibly can.
From our scrubs to our soy candles – we choose to use the finest ingredients to ensure everything is nourishing and beneficial.

Q. Where are your products made?
A. ALL of The Bath Workshop custom products are made in the USA.

Q. Why don’t you have parabens in your products?
A. Parabens are chemicals found in most commercial skin care products and cosmetics. They are cheap and widely available, which is why they are used. Parabens imitate the estrogen hormone, and accumulate over time, influencing high levels in the body, which may be linked to breast cancer.

Q. Why don’t you have alcohol in your products?
A. Bad types of alcohol irritate and dry out your skin, and can cause inflammation. The types of alcohol in our products are actually plant-derived, and do not cause this irritation.

Q. Why don’t you have mineral oils in your products?
A. Mineral oil clogs pores, is difficult to absorb, and slows your skin’s ability to elimate harmful toxins. Mineral oil is a byproduct from the production of gasoline.

Q. Do you test your products on animals?
A. Absolutely not. Never have and never will.

Q. Are your products Organic?
A. All of our products contain organic ingredients. For specific percentages, please contact us directly.

Q. Do you carry Fair Trade Products?
A. Yes. We purchase our raw organic shea butter and cocoa butter from Fair Trade suppliers and mix it into our lotions, soaps & creams.
We are also a proud supporter of Fair Trade Claremont and Fair Trade L.A.
